Hole 1
A downhill par 4 that requires a straight drive, preferable on the right side of the fairway to give you the best angle into the green slightly tucked to the left of the fairway. A two-tiered green that slopes away from you can make your approach shot tricky.
Hole 2
A short par 4 that requires a layup in the fairway short of a creek that runs across the hole in front of the green. Big hitters can try to fly the creek off the tee to have less than 50 yards left into the green.
Hole 3
The first of two par 3’s that require a good tee shot to hit the green. Being short will cause your ball to run down the hill short of the green, while being long will be a tough chip shot because the green runs away from you.
Hole 4
The first of two par 5’s is a sharp dogleg left that is uphill all the way. Be careful not to hit your drive too far to the right because there is out of bounds along the road. The L-shaped green can also make an approach shot hard to access.
Hole 5
A strategic tee shot is required for this short dogleg par 4 with a narrow fairway surrounded by trees. A long ball can cut a big chunk off this hole if you can clear the trees. A sand trap short of the green and a two-tiered green makes any approach shot and putt tricky.
Hole 6
The second par 3 forces you to clear water if you want to go after the pin. The bail-out area is to the right, but that can make for a difficult up and down. Be careful with the back to front sloping green.
Hole 7
Help from the fairway running downhill will leave you with a short to mid-iron left into the green with a good drive. The narrow, two-tiered green can leave for a difficult approach shot though.
Hole 8
The last par 4 and the #1 handicap hole requires another layup short of a creek that runs across in front of the green. The ideal tee shot is one with a draw that runs with the fairway down that hill. Hit your tee shot too far right, and your second shot could be blocked out by the big tree right of the fairway. Another two-tiered green sloping back to front can leave for a difficult approach shot.
Hole 9
The finishing par 5 is a long, uphill, and slight dogleg left hole that takes two solid shots even from the longer hitters. A good drive is a must to avoid trees lining both sides of the fairway. Watch out for the greenside bunker to the left of the green. No putt is easy with the tricky sloped green.
